Hey all,

I have a BT Homehub which can reach a maximum connection speed of 8MB, but I'm in an area which can only get a max of 5MB.

So how come when using uTorrent (and previously Azureus...but not anymore) I have only ever reached a download speed of about 250kb/s which is only a small fraction of 5MB?

I have read and heard people saying they can get NORMAL download speeds into the Megabytes a second?!?!? and they live in my area and have a simliar connection speed (5MB) and are downloading the same file as I am.

How can I?

I know that the actual torrent, seeders, leechers and amount of peers has an effect on the speed, but the fastest download speed i have ever reached is about 250kb/s
