My brother has finally come bk from uni so ive nicked his soldering iron hoping i would install my Wiikey this weekend, to find out his soldering iron has quite a big nib and when was testing it today it would melt the flux then other times i could leave it on the flux and it would take atleast 10 secs to melt it, so totally unsure if i should use this crap soldering iron

Im using this soldering iron Antex CS18




Any advice would be much appricated maybe if anyone has used the same model and it was totally fine, or maybe i should resist and wait a bit longer and get another soldering iron lol

and also when i solder i just get lil blobs of flux which doesnt stick down and rolls around the place lol

buy the lowest watt soldering iron that you can find at radioshack, they're only like $7.
