I just installed Wiikey by myself this afternoon, I can still play the original games, but not the games i burned by myself.
is there anyway i can know if the problem is the Wiikey's or burned games?
besides, how do i know the Wiikey i installed is good?
if the Wiikey is good, then i will buy different brand dvd and burn in different speed...
Thanks....

go to the wiikey website and download their setup disc and burn it. it should run in your wii if you installed the wiikey properly

Did you burn the wii key update disc? I would try that one first. That way you know it is not the game you are trying. Then if that does not work, it could be the brand of disc's. (I use Verbatim, they work well) however, I would say more than likely you are missing a solder point somewhere. Try getting Verbatim and burning the wii key update. If that does not work, you know it is a solder point. Check them all out with a mag. glass to make sure the points are all on good.

Wii's can be picky at what media it will read.
I have seen some use Verbatim with no trouble but others have had problems with them.
I used Tayio Yuden at first which are as good as Verbatim and I had trouble with those. Finally I tried some Maxell DVD-R 16x media. Finally I get a constant backup with no problems at all.
So try some Maxell DVD-R 16x
Can you also provide us with what region Wii you have and the region the Game Disc is that your trying to burn.

well regardless, nothing is going to be good if the setup disc isnt good. you have no way of telling if those burnt games are good or not if you dont get the setup disc installed.

Would it be possible for you to take a picture of your install and post it here? That way we can help you a little better. As for burning games, use ImgBurn to burn them.

When did you get your Wii?
I know the new motherboard types have hit North America which have 3 of the IC leg pins cut from the chip. This will mean soldering to the Soldering points will not work since the pins are no longer making a connection.
For more information and pictures of these types of board go to the link below...

Look at the image below. You should add additional solder to where the arrow points to. Those two points are for power and it seems that they are not getting enough based on your current solder points.

All your other points look fine so it may seem that you do have a bad wiikey. Hopefully you can exchange it with no problems. Good luck and keep us updated.
