mac to pc printer?

ok i just got mac, but my printer has no drivers for it. So I will have to keep my pc so I can use the printer. I want to print from the mac to the pc, can this be done? My printer is a canon multi pass mp730. I went into the mac share printer, it does not see it?

can the mac use the drivers through the pc? there are no mac drives for this printer:(
I do not want to buy a new printer. This one is about 2yrs old.

ok, I went out and bought a new printer that works on imac.
How do I get the old pc to see it?
