Until recently, I used RipIt4Me. I still use it on the older movies as it passes everthing through Fix VTS. I don't burn with Shrink. Instead, I use DVD Remake Pro. Then, if the compression is under 85%, I use DVD Rebuilder Pro. If it is over, I use Shrink or Nero to recode.

Now I have Any DVD. Can't run it with the old RipIt4Me. I assume that is because the Ripper is not compatible. DVD Decrypter works, but it only reads at 2X. It still takes 45-50 minutes, just to put it into a file that I can put through DVD Remake Pro.

My question is: Is there a program out there that will read it quickly, like Nero will, that will not make me go into a recode mode? Nero will import the movie as quick or quicker than Shrink, but it has to go through Recode as far as I can see.

Did you run Nero Info Tool to verify that DMA is on for the drive (internal ide drive)?
