TMPEGNC AVI PROBLEM

When i try to run tmpegnc and i use a avi file it says error in file or something or format unsupported , how do i fix that ?

First make sure you have the correct Codecs installed to decode your AVI file, if you do then go to "options" to "Enviromental Settings" to "Vfapi Plugins" and Raise the "Direct Show File Reader" to "2"..This should stop the error....

What i recommend should be done here is the audio be fully decompressed OR you use SSRC and tooLame with TMPGEnc!
