Nero 6.6.0.1
NEC ND-3550A (internal)
Windows XP
All HD are SATA
Nero stopped working normally, around the same day that I installed/uninstalled Daemon Tools - I am not positive that, that is the culprit, but that is the only thing that changed that day. Ever since then, Nero cranks out the "Sectors XXX to XXX on disc are different to source" errors...and a LOT of them (1000+)
This issue is not related to media. These are A+ quality Verbatims that are used by multiple people in an production environment. I tried various spindles as well as Dual & single layers. No one else has had any issues with this media.
I don't believe this issue to be DVD drive related. I have an external drive (same model) hooked up thru firewire...I get identical results.
I have used DVD authoring software(no verify option) to successfully burn DVDs.
I have used CDCheck to verify that there are no CRC errors.
I have uninstalled Nero, and re-installed the same version. I have deleted the DVD drive out of the device manager, and reinstalled it. Neither has changed anything.
I updated nero's ASPI file.
Somehow Nero's ability to verify has been corrupted...and I don't know where to look next. Are there any other things I can do to fix this issue? Places to look? Logs to post?
I have posted a log file below, of the failed Nero verify...minus about 900 of the errors...I would appreciate it if someone could take a look, and see if they could point me in the right direction. Most of the posts about this issue, I've tried or they don't quite apply. Thank you!

Hi cwigley
Update the firmware to 1.06.
If the external has a firmware version of 1.05 or under update that one too.
Update Nero to 6.6.1.15a - package 1 - link.
Try disabling Nero's image drive also.
Run a disc defrag, cleanup, virus scan and registry cleaner lately?
If not do those.
Here's a good free registry cleaner if you need one - ccleaner. Use the cleaner & issues options. The cleaner option does a better job imho then the windows cleanup utility.
Try burning and verify w/ the free ImgBurn and see if you get the same results. Use the build mode to add the files/video_ts folder to burn.
