Nero Burning Errors ...

Posted this in the CD-R forum before I realized their was a Nero dedicated forum ...
I'm trying to burn a data disc to back-up some of my mp3s, and every time I try I keep getting the same error messages.
Immediately after starting the burning process I get:
- Track following error
- Invalid write state
- Could not perform EndTrack
- Could not perform Fixation
- Burn process failed
I'm tried different kinds of CD-Rs, and burning at different speeds, but keep getting the same set of errors. Anyone know what's up? (I'm using Nero 6)

Edited to say I just upgraded my firmware from 1.17 to 1.19 and I'm getting the same errors ...
