can someone please help me.......the movie im burning does not even start to burn it stops when it gets to 10% buffered then quits. am i doing something wrong?

Definitely free up some memory! Way too little free memory. As Gwendolin will tell you, no multi-tasking, shut down any unnecessary programs, shut down any RAM drives, etc.
You might want to consider a memory upgrade too, another 512MB would help alot.
