Well seeing as how I don't want to solder a chip myself or send it away. Is there a store in the US that would do the chip installation for me?

teammodders.com are in the USA and will install it. Starting price is $35 for the install. You can also buy the Modchip from them and add it onto the price. Go to the site and click the link for installs and e-mail them your information on what you want installed and they will get back to you.

Some listings on there get taken down or scared away by legal looking e-mails.

Try trustedmods.com or someone you know that can solder. I happen to work at a place that repairs circuit boards so I had them do mine :-)

well...what i did was i took the Wii apart myself. Printed outs the schematic from Wiikey's site, and took it to a local TV repair shop. They did the sodering for $5. I did everything else. Cheapest way to go IMO.

So if you can handle that just look up TV repair in the yellow pages.

Wow that doesn't sound so bad. Also by everything else I assume you mean set up.

If all else fails I guess I'll try teammodders.
