can someone tell me every way to brick/not brick a wii?

i want to know every way to brick a wii so if my wii is modded, i will know ahead of time what not to do. where can i find out what type of wii i have, NTSC or PAL. which chip is easier to isntall, wiid or wiikey (which does most people prefer, prices/websites to order (local modding help? i live in sf, ca). thanks

were do you live / buy your Wii From ...

If you live in USA its a NTSC-U if u live in japan its a NTSC-J If you like in UK its a PAL

NTSC is North America and Japan and PAL is Europe and Australia.
You generally brick your Wii by updating with the firmware from the wrong region, for example if you try playing Super paper mario on a PAL Wii without first updating, it will brick it.
I have a Wiikey and I got it installed by a pro for Au$100.

Start your WII go to settings look at the top right corner do you have version
