Lately, I've been having problems with my burned DVD data discs. When burning, everything seems to go alright. After it is completed, the discs will mount and everything looks OK. However, if I eject the disc and put it back in, it won't mount and the drive will automatically eject the disc after a few seconds. The burned discs will work in other readers (I've tried them out on my PS2 and Xbox, but not on another computer yet). Discs that I burned a while back still work fine on my computer.

I've tried different brand DVDs. I've tried burning in both Toast 7 & 8 with various settings. I've tried burning in the Finder.

My burner is a Pioneer DVR-107D. I've just updated the firmware- I was running 1.14, now it is 1.21 (I believe there is a 1.22 firmware out, but I haven't gone through the trouble of trying that yet).

I'm running OS 10.4.9

I'm not exactly sure when this problem started occurring (I usually don't put my burned data backup discs back in the computer, so this could have been happening for a while before I realized it). The only relevant thing I've done to my computer recently that I can think of is installing Toast 8.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
