i have bought a lot of memorex DVD-Rs and i keep getting the same error when recording a illegal disc error here is the log from Nero

Memorex DVDs are not real good media. Go and get some Verbatims or Taiyo Yudens.

As already mentioned, you are using poor quality discs and are burning too fast, try slowing the burn to 4X...consider (in future) Verbatim or Sony (made in Japan)

but one question i really dont know in what is the preburned little bit of data on the DVDs, i havent seen them on the old DVD before i used them.
