WiiD stopped working overnight Help please!

Hi All,
Last night i chipped my Wii wit a WiiD chip. Much to my amazment it worked. i played a downloaded version of Mario Striker PAL on it and it worked fine. i went to bed and woke up burn off a Mario Party 8 USA and inserted into the Wii.

It said unable to read the disk. I thought maybe it was a bad burn or file or somet so i stuck the strikers disc back in, but this didnt work either. since then i have had a look inside twice and resoldered. i have tried to update and tried refashing the chip. but nothing wants to work!

so now disheartened i feel like throwing it at a wall even though it still plays the originals fine.

what can i do?

any help would be so greatly appriciated.

dunt play mario 8 USA on a PAL machine man, it can brick your wii bc of the automatic firmware update that mario 8 has

n00b!

Booting Mario Strikers Charged and performing the update associated with it would bring the console up to date with Mario Party 8.

But that doesn't matter. Mario Party 8 NTSC-U won't run on PAL anyways.

thanks so much for the help, any ideas how i would go about fixing this. is there a way of restoring original firmware? i have a feeling mario party 8 fuked me over.
