I tried to install a wiikey but it doesn't seem to be working, I get DRE's for all games including originals. There are no missing pads or major damages, I think. I had to redo the whole install because it was bad and it still is not working!! What am I doing wrong? The only thing I can thing of is the half-burned solder point on the wii which doesn't melt (look in the middle of the pictures), I just melted some solder onto it and it sticks just enough, while all the other points melted with the solder. I took out the wiikey before installing the second time to make sure my wii works and it does with no errors. I'm going crazy! Please help, thanks.

I forgot to mention that yes, this is my first time soldering

Might be something with the Wiikey. But make sure that the ends of the wires are inside the solder in the points to make a secure connection.

Still not working! I've tried everything to fix it!

I've even tried soldering the wire in the half burned point to the other ground point labeled in this picture. (ignore the question of if I should try to solder it there because I already did and its still not working)

Yeah I think you fried that point right there.

To be honest you should really send it to a professional- I think this is too much for you lol.

All I know is that Metroid dude that I told you about and WillieWonka ( I think that's his name...).

Of course you could always send it to me. I'll do it for free. Just pay for shipping and I'll see if I can fix it :).

o hey I didn't realize it was you from blackcats-games. thanks for ur help, im not sure if i am going to send it to you or to a pro, you did say the wiikey was the first modchip you soldered, right? No offense, I was kinda looking for someone who had a lot of experience so I am sure it gets fixed. However, I might send it to you because you will do it for free :) , thanks for the offer

Yeah it was the first lol. But like I said, it was pretty easy for me. Before I did it I practiced A LOT on old electronics that I had.

If you want to send it to me then you can and I'll see what I can do. But if you want a professional to do it then go ahead.
