supercad and/or superkey bricked my ds

Will i was useing my supercard for about 2 month until one day[After i finished playing pokemon daimond]i put my superkey in and then it bricked on me. The ds wont turn on and when i try to charge it the orange turned on then it shut off completle.
I got my new ds from nintendo and put the supercard lite in first then when i put in the superkey it did the same thing.

I've been looking for solutions, but all i can get is if you bricked you ds by flashme

I need help is it the supercard or the superpass?Has anyone had the same problem and can this problem be avioded
