Hi i need help please i have a chip installed in my Wii but i dont know which one if i try the diffrent setting discs like the wiikey one will it damage the chip/wii ?

i herd not to install anything using disks, just connect 2 online and i think you will get updates, u may wana search it on your wii as well.

that too is what i recommend... dont use any updates that comes with a game/disc cause it could possibly damage your system but then again it might not so if you want to go for it. for instance i heard that if you downlaoded the new mario strikers, which is the european version, for the wii and use the udate it comes with on your NTSC system it will screw up your system since you used a PAL update to update you NTSC system although i dont know if it goes both ways ie update PAL system with NTSC firmware. but just to be safe i would simply update via the option under your wii settings.

Thanks i meant the wiikey config disc but just tryed it and it worked so i must have a wiikey :-)
