i got a japanese psp, i need help

hi , im new to the website, but i need ur help
i just got a new japanese psp(1000) with version 3.11
i was reading a forum saying the the programto downgrade) is not out yet so my questions are:
1.- what can i do to downgrade besides wait for it?
2.- some day will come out?
3.- if its made in japan has something diferent than the us version or its more dificult?
4.- can i get regular ps or ps2(us versions) games and movies into the psp(if i can downgrade it)
5.- how?
6.- where?

by the way i really new into the psp stuff and i dont know a lot of terminology and how to do stuff in it.

Modchips. www.mod-chip.com hard to install

Sooner or later it should.

It wouldnt matter
4.- can i get regular ps or ps2(us versions) games and movies into the psp(if i can downgrade it)
You can play PS1 Games not PS2. Also PSP games on memory card.
5.- how?
Depending on what u are trying to do...PSX games PSP games, SNES emulators, N64 emu, GBA...nothing newer than GBA or N64 emulator is out yet.
6.- where?
check out PSP-hacks.com or pspupdates.qj.net
