I have recently been getting an Illegal disc error and can't seem to figure it out. Looking at the log I don't know why it says XP 6.0 since the Vista was a clean install and not an upgrade. Any help would be apreciated.

The XP 6.0 in the log I think is just a Nero thing on how it identifies Vista.
The illegal disc usually means the media is not supported by the firmware. You have the latest firmware though but looks like these discs may not be supported by it. Doesn't always mean it will fail.
The discs you're using are made by Ritek - not bad but try some different ones like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim or made in Japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell.
Try burning at 4x - see if that makes a diff for these.
Give another burning program a shot too - try ImgBurn. Free. Use the build mode to add the files and burn.
