actually i have done that way..
copying it directly from the explorer...
but it encountered the same problem...
not just mp4...
files mp3 pic and many things...

Aime, did you check if your MS(Memory Stick) is not damaged? try to transfer different set of files.

ermmm...
i think it does not damaged because i use to place it in the psp and never take it out..
and how to know if the mstick is damaged or not...
i could transfer a few files but then it started saying those error...
arghhh so disappointed...

That's true, my cable f'd up on me. Is it a standard data transfer cable or the one that charges as well? The one that charges as well was then one that stopped working for me.
It could (as said before be your mem stick, they can sometimes get corrupted. Try your mem stick out on another psp if someone or you has got a different one, or if you have a memory stick slot on your pc or laptop plug it in and try to copy files across.
If it doesn't transfer then its probably your card.

Try transfering data from a different computer to your MS. If that doesn't work. Try to get a different cable and transfer data and check if that works.
If changing the cable doesn't make a difference, then go into your PSP and try to Format the MS, and retry all the steps.

yeah..
i guess the problem is with the usb cable..
im using the one with the charger..
i will buy a new one and try it..
i also had format the mstick but it still the same..
im using sony memory stick pro duo 1gb magic gate..
hope that my mstick wont have a problem...
because it was so expensive here in malaysia..
1gb for rm 300 thats about us 100 i guess..
by the way thanks all..

will this work with the 2.5 eboot? do you need the 1.5 eboot to go back to 1.5?

Yes this will work with the 2.5 EBOOT (but not any FW higher than that). You don't do anything to go back to FW1.5, it doesn't rewrite the flash or anything. Just restart your PSP, and it will be FW1.5.
