hi since yesterday when i play any games on my pc after20 - 30 mins the fuse in my plug 4 the pc blows ive tried a new cable but same thing happens only when playing games it does not happen if im just using my pc ie for internet or anything else just games that ive played b4 this problem started please advise what to do thanks

What wattage is your PC's power supply (PSU)?

hi sorry it took some time to get back to you too busy sprting out other peoples pcs but seeing as they pay me for it theres are a bit more of a prioty right back to mine my psu labell said switching model lc-a300 atx combined load 160w totall output 1s 300w the thing i dont get is the games that im playing when fuse blows r games ive been playing for a little while but this problem has just started a few days ago thanks for any response much appreciated cheers

Could be your PSU can't keep up with it and is dieing.

I'd reccomend you get a decent PSU, prefferably over 500W and check your cooling is all alright.

Also, if your plug goes into a multi adapter at any point, check that's working too.

thanks 4 the advise my plug does go into an 4 way adapter for monitor speakers and printer but there all fine how do i check the cooling please

If you have any advnced type of cooling you'd most likely know about it.

Check all your fans aren't clogged and clean.

I still recon it's a dodgy PSU if it's frying the plug/fuse..

Have you checked the actually internals of the wall socket?
