hi,

i posted this on the firmware section but from what i've been reading around this forum, it might not be a firware issue at all, so i just wanted to see if anyone could help me out... (i'm sorry if i posted two very similar threads)

my psp is a ta-082, and it came with the 2.71 firmware, i downgraded it to 1.5 and then used the new upgrades to switch it to 3.03oe, then 3.30oe and now 3.40oe. my problem now is that most of the isos that i try to run always block at the intro cinematics or during the game itself or they just don't load at all - the error that i get is: "game could not be started (80020148)" - even my original umd "smash court tennis 3" freazes all the time.

if anyone could help me out with this, i would really apreciate it!

P.S. - some of the isos that i've been trying to play are:

- Virtua Tennis 3
- Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai & DBZ Shin Budokai: Another Road
- Football Manager 2007
- Need For Speed Most Wanted
- Killzone Liberation (this one doesn't even go past the intro)

Smurff, i got most of my isos from newsgroups, that's where i download most of my stuff. except "need for speed: most wanted" that i already had the iso here, and it used to work on my old psp, so that's why i was thinking that it was very odd that it isn't working on this one.

could be a problem with the firmware install, try reflashing the firmware or whatever, see if that fixes it.
