problem burning cds using my vaio :'(

well i've had this laptop for over 2 years now and i've never had a problem writing audio or data cds. now i cannot do either :(

i have tried using 3 different brands of disks and none work, its happy analyzing and preparing them but when it goes to write the first song its comes up with an error message after the first song is completed. it does this with several differant albums :(

my computer is a sony vaio fs115b i think

can anyone help?
