hello,
i have no intrest in teh mario games but was woundering if i should rent teh games to do the update? at least i know i would be getting the right region.
any thoughts?

HELL NO!!! HAVEN'T WE BEEN SAYING ALL ALONE TO NEVER UPDATE VIA GAME DISC!!! UPDATE OVER THE NETWORK AND YOU WILL ALWAYS GET THE CORRECT REGION FOR YOUR WII!!!

That is unless you are using an imported wii system in a different country than what it was intended for.

I cant see any problem with renting a game for the update as long as you get the right region.
If you didnt have an internet connection this is how you would have to update you console.

You should buy the required equipment to get your Wii online to get the right firmware every time.
