We have got two programs left, AnyDVD based on the island of Antigua and fabdecrypter which i underestand comes to us from china. Maybe the arm of the powerful movie companies won't be able to get to those places; will see.
Dvd Fabdecrypter will go next IMO - SlySoft is too bigger of an organisation. I've got a feeling we will end up with AnyDVD and that's it and as far as I'm aware, AnyDVD doesn't always work on newer DVDs...

I've never had AnyDVD fail on any movie I've backed up ever. now and then AnyDVD will have trouble backing up the complete movie till they update it in a couple days but in that case you can do the movie only and get it done. i only backup movie only anyway
Quote:Sony and Macrovision work very closely with each other, as far as I'm aware, so it's hardly suprising.
However, I am still under the impression (from a source I, unfortunately, can't show you) that MacroVision were responsible, and still are, for the removal of RipIt4Me.
Or, if it was Sony that eventually took RipIt4Me down, then MacroVision are still the ones who own copyright of it.
@Ripper
Where did you get your info that Macrovision owns the copyright to Ripit4Me, or did you mean DVD Decrypter which they do own.
After reading all of the court documents there is no mention of Macrovision at all.
