How do I burn Game Cube games onto a DVD to play on my Wii? The file format is .gcm and many people think you can just change the file extension to .iso and burn it. They are wrong, the Wii will not read the disc. So, what can I do? Thanks

I know my medias are good. All WII games work great. I used Tayden(can't remember the exact Japanese brand but it's a good brand). I always use Nero to write the ISO. I know it's not the program either as I have done a lot of backup with Nero and no had problem.

I have the WiiKey mod chip, it plays Wii games, DVD movies, and home-brew GC games perfectly, its just the regular GC .gcm ones that don't work. The media I'm using is TDK DVD+R and the program; Nero 7. Is there some sort of program to convert .gcm to .iso instead of just renaming it?

I assume you are having problems with scene releases? First thing I'd recommend is make your own copy from your original, WiiKey disc has software to do that. Because you do of course own the original if you're downloading them.
Also have you tried burning with DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn? I seem to remember that is how I used to burn mine. You may need to tweak some settings in Nero, have a look around for some old GC threads.

Is there somekind of list to which GC games can be burned as a multigame dvd with Multigame ISO creator? I burned Resident evil 4 disc 1 & 2 on the same dvd but it gets a disc read error shortly after starting the game. I also burned Mario kart and super mario sunshine, and mario kart keeps on giving DRE´s but sunshine works fine.

Before you say that he is doing nothing wrong you should know exactly where he is from. A quick search on his username on Google brought me to another forum which he posts in.
It indicates that he is from Canada, and burning games when you don't own them is clearly illegal.

Hrm.
It's the same person too since they both use the same avatar.

So yeah, like I said, you shouldn't just say stuff like that online. Information is easy to get.

and in that case, its not legal for you to have a backup to play elsewhere. Kind of like "i do own the games, except my friend has them..." Furthermore, it doesn't matter where he is from, discussions of piracy is against this forums TOS. Just cuz my sister owns a dvd, doesnt mean its legal for me to back it up so I can watch it whenever I want.
