I am trying ot backup my copy of Daddy's Little Girls DVD. I used Ripit4me and encountered an error.
Invalid data in file.....VTS_01_05.VOB.
Any suggestions

do you have the lastest vs of rip it?
you can try dvdfab. http://dvdidle.com/
is the disc scratched or dirty?

Invalid File errors are usually protection, try DVDFab and see if it works.

Nope, but suppose there is always a first. I just hope it runs forever, but if Macrovision does have the program now, I am waiting to see just what they come up with.

the latest version of AnyDVD and clonedvd2 can do this one.

I've had only one movie that RI4M couldn't handle but can't remember what it was. dvdfab decrypter did the trick.

my dvd drive liteon lh16w1p364c will not recognize this particular disc for anything. i even exchanged my first copy for another same result. help anyone?!

try this get AnyDVD from here www.slysoft.com then open the progarm on your computer first and then put the dvd in the drive. see if that works.

got it. wont scan disc. region code and everything else seems to be in order. has anyone else had this problem with this particular movie?

Got it. Used DVDFab Decrypter to output to file. Then used DVD Shrink to compress. Worked like a dream. LOL

I tried to backup my copy earlier today while at work and was unable using the newest version of ripit for me. I have version 1.7.0.0 running on my home pc. I was able to back it up using that version without a problem. It appears the dvd has a lot of junk on it that crashes all newer ripping software, try using an older version it may work as it did for me.
