got it professionally installed and just trying it out

loads the set up disc, turned off region lock

insert mario party 8 NTSC (PAL wii) and it loads the channel screen and did the update (have latest 2.2E so it all still works) but when i click start the screen goes black, the wiimote goes dead and nothing happens. same happens for prince of persia 3 for gcn, reads it as gc disc click start and it goes black and does nothing.

using imation DVD-R for mario party and a sony DVD-R for pop.

help?

hmm couldnt find the edit button.

mp8 - burnt Nero 4x (8x disc, lowest i can chose is 4x)
pop3 - burnt Nero 1x (1x only disc)

ok well i got a copy of wing island that does work on my friend wii and it wouldnt work on mine (same problem as above) so i deduced it was the chip. so replaced the chip (another F^ing $70) and now wing island works. so bought a bunch of same discs (some cheap ass brand, intact is the name) as wing island is burnt on but mp8 still has the same error.

is the problem the iso??? its the vortex release.
