I am having trouble with getting some cheatcodes to work for "Wizardry: Tales of the Forsaken Land." I am using a Codebreaker v.8 cheating device, and for whatever reason, the cheatcodes do not work. So, opting instead to use Gameshark's Broadband Enabled edition, I try it, only now, when I select start game, it tries to load the boot disc, but fails to do so. In short, one device's codes won't work even though it is for the correct game, and for the other device, it won't load the CD boot-up driver. In order to shortcut this I was wondering if there was anything I can do to burn the CD to a DVD, and still get it to play?
Also, just some additional information, my PS2 is a v.9, and I am using Swap Magic 3.6. So if anyone can tell me what I can do to remedy this problem, I would appreciate it.

You could try making a compilation of programs and or games using this method. It does work for programs actually. Getting it to work, however, is your problem although it shouldn't be to hard really. You can also use multi.xml, but I have absolutely no clue how to use multi-loader so I stuck with the primitive (older) method.

I'm not interested in loading multiple games from one disc. I'm just looking to put one game on one disc, and then be able to play it. Also, after doing some research of my own, I foud out that Nero was needed. Does anyone have any advice on burning a PS2 CD to a DVD by using Alcohol 120%? Also the file size for the game is 635 MB. Could that be part of the reason that I am having trouble with it, since the file size is a little to big.

You cannot use Alcohol 120 to burn cd games onto dvd disk
there a few ways you can do it,but not without some alterations first
you need the game files all extrated from the image, and then you need to patch the needed files to dvd
then you can rebuild/make an image using imageburn instead of nero(imageburn = free)
use the guides on this site

So what you're saying is that they're is a free version of Nero (or at the very least a trial)? If that is the case, I'll try to download a version of it soon. Also, about the guides, yeah, I've foudn them already. That's why I mentioned Alcohol 120% since I can obtain that for free, where as for Nero, I've never used it before.
Okay, I'll try the guides, and see what they have to say. With a little luck I might be able to figure this out. Also would using Nero be relatively more simple? The reason I'm asking this is because, from what I've read, the information mostly provides putting multiple games on one disc, rather than one game to a disc. As long as I can one put on, that's all that matters at this point.
Oh yes, and this is just nit picking, but if it's possible to put multiple CD games on a DVD, wouldn't it also be possible to put multiple DVD games on it and then be able to run it from the PS2?

IMG Burn is another program, similar to DVD Decryptor that is free unlike Nero which isn't unless you pirate it.

Well, if you looked in the thread, it actually mentions a little about converting (patching like hursty said) PS2 CD-based games with DVDScanLite 3.7 by Sonix I believe so you're able to burn them on DVDs and play them. It does not work on a few games however to my disappointment like Growlanser Generations.

Yes on both things. You cannot put multiple PSX games on a DVD to play because of a lot of technicalities and such. As long as the PS2 games are small enough, you can indeed put a lot of games onto one DVD. Ever notice how small those Nippon Ichi strategy games are? You can put all of them onto one DVD like I did with a little hex editing. Disgaea Hour of Darkness 700 megabytes when shrunk from its false LBA of 1.2 gigabytes, Disgaea 2 Cursed Memories is permanently around 1.3 gigabytes even when trying to shrink, Makai Kingdoms about 650 megabytes, La Pucelle Tactics for about 700 megabytes, and only 3.8 gigabytes out of a 4.34 gigabyte disc is being used. You can also do it for very small sized games like Marvel Vs Capcom 2 (patch to DVD) and have like 10 2-player games on one DVD. The most easiest to do multi-game compilations are those without conflicting file and or folder names, otherwise, you have to edit the ELF file along with the files you've edited.
Edit: some English.
