okay so I torrented a wii ISO and burned it to a dvd on Nero. I try to play it on my Wii and it can't read it... what's the deal?

Is your Wii Modded? (If so what chip do you have)

What type of discs are you useing? (DVD-R? DVD+R? etc..)

What region is your wii?

What region are the games you downloaded?

What games did you download?

Anyways, you need to solder a chip onto the Wii in order to play backups.

I think you do need one to play back ups on the 360 also

no you don't. You can plug the xbox360 dvd into your computer and flash the onboard firmware so you can play backups. No chip required for xbox360

I'm guessing you are new to the mod scene. But even I when I first started out knew that you needed a modchip of some sort. You can't just burn and play on a console. Well, there was the DC of course.

Hi. I'm new around the forums and I need some help. I'm having some problems with some of the games I've downloaded via BT. I followed the tutorial and have successfully burned a game that works on my modded Japanese Wii. I've downloaded 2 more games and did the same thing, but these two games don't work for me. It loads the initial title screen, but then the screen blacks out and freezes the unit. Can anyone give me an idea on what I'm doing wrong?
