failure to verify sectors- does it matter?

when I burn data DVDs I get several "Sector xxxx on disc has different content to source" each time.

my question is- does it matter? should I throw away the disc and try again? because if it just means the AVI files I stored on the DVD might skip once or twice while playing I really don't mind.

doesnt really matter, its up to you .You could just use a different burning application to see if you get a better burn result
