Help Regarding Problem With Top Up TV Anytime Box

I would like a little help with something regarding m,y Top Up TV Anytime box.

When I insert my Top Up TV Anytime viewing card into the reciever, it says that the card is present in the reciever, but instead of displaying the card number it shows a line of zero's.
I e-mailed Top Up TV regarding this and they said that if a line of zero's are displayed then the card hasn't been inserted properly. But if that was the case then surely it wouldn't be saying that the card is inserted correctly on my reciever.

My question is, will I still recieve the Top Up TV Anytime, most importantly of all Setanta Sports, evem if the number isn't displaying properly. And if not, how can I fix this problem as no matter how carefully I insert the card the number will not display even though it says the card is inserted correctly.
