first of... the search function is your friend, the many topics will give you alot more background to choosing a chip than you will probably get in this thread.
But as for which chip... do your research, its your choice and you have to find it by looking at all the options, but people here will help guide you.
For me it all depends how long you want to wait before getting your wii chipped and also you knowledge of chips and the like.
If you have little knowledge:
And want it done now, go for the WiiD, its got all the functions of other chips and seems to have support behind it. The Wiikey is your other option, its the most used chip at the moment but has lost ALOT of support as the team behind it have still not released an update which they have promised.
If you are willing to wait a bit, then you should check out the Wiip2, it seems to have all the features of normal chips with added usb upgrade ability aswell which is a great bonus. Its also an open source chip so it should have alot of support when it is released. Its meant to be coming in 2-4 weeks but the team that are making it have been known to say a chip is coming soon so you dont get another one in the meantime, but then take alot longer than planned.
If you have the time to wait, then sit around and wait for the Wiip2, if the Wiikey update finally appears before it comes out, then if the new features brought by the update are amazing... then you can get that instead.
If you have knowledge of chips and programming chips then the Wiifree or openwii seem to be great chips. You make the chips and program them yourself so they work out to be far cheaper ($3 ish) but again it can appear very complicated to someone that has no idea (like me :D )
good luck. And remember, the search button and google are your friends.
