I accidentally burned the flat cable that connect the wii dvd drive to the mainboard with my soldering iron while installing a mod chip. Does anyone know where can I get a replacement for it?

He cant call Nintendo he voided his warranty by
1) Opening it
2) Trying to modify it, read the instruction booklet
Also you would get in trouble when they find out what you tried to do, they told me to send mine to them but i thought im not risking it.

Actually they're pretty generous. Some guy sent in his modded Wii to them for repair and got it back fixed. They gave him back the chip, too.

Your pulling my leg right? So if i send my wii with two solder pads some of the circuit wire also gone, they would repair that?
Your in America right, hope they are the same in England. Looks like im going to send mine soon!

lol even if he isnt... its worth a try... i mean it isnt going to fix itself now is it :D and u cant play it the way it is... soo...

i would advise you to take a couple of pics of the different problems and email a couple of different mod installation sites asking if they can help

sadly it sounds like u have screwed it up very well.. but worth a try
