my daughter wants to buy a new computer mainly for pc games
and doing a little work with spreadsheets.
i cant help her as my computer is used for mainly applications

she has about a £1000 budget without lcd digital tv which she also has to buy.

i use intel machine myself
i dont want her to get wireless as we are on cable and i dont feel
wireless is secure enough yet.

so if anyone could spare the time to advise her it would be much appreciated

laptop or desktop? And unless you have a wireless router or some other form of wireless network set up at home you will not be able to get wireless.
