hi there im new at this and have read most of the posts im trying to back up red steel wii game and every time i try it keeps stopping at 670mb and gives me an error message saying unhandled exception has occurred in your application.if you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click quit, the application will close immediately.

arithmatic operation resulted in overflow

im using lg drive 8163b
.net3
rawdump 2
my lg drive is in an external case using usb 2
can some one advise me what could be the problem

they are the 2 differences from me and mine work fine.

Im using net framework 2 and my lg drive is ide cabled up inside my machine.

Sorry i cant help with any specifics, just hope that helps you narrow down what the problem could be.

Have you had any issues with any other Wii game being backed up?

If not then it possibly could be one of the problems listed below.

Could be as simple as the disc is dirty Make sure it is clean.

A scratch on the disc repair it

A manufacture defect that you can not see physically but still could be there. Replace the game disc with the same title at the store you bought it from.

(I have never used an LG drive and rawdump but I have read allot of threads and it seems the above issues are the most common problem)

no problem that is ok im going to get myself a good disc cleaner and try that just found some deep scratch marks in the game.

try backing the game up in safe mode logged in as administrator, this helped me with the error.
