Hey all,

I will be getting either R4 or M3 Simply with a 1GB MicroSD.
Just wanted to know an estimated, how many games can fit on 1GB Card.
Or should I try and get a 2GB?

Thanks,

I currently have 18 DS Games, 6 GBA Games, 10 MP3 tracks, and a bunch of homebrew on my 1GB card, and I still have about 50MB free

Very cool, thanks everyone. That gives me a good idea.
I think I will try and get the 2GB MicroSD to go with the M3 Simply I will get.

By the Way, a few of you say you have some GBA games on the MicroSD. I thought those could only be played on slot 2, like the EZ 3 in 1.

Thanks,

Two explanations:
1. As Jademalo said, the M3 lite uses microSD and can play GBA games.
2. I have the EZFlash 3-1, games are stored on my MicroSD in my Simply (well my EZFlash V now) and 1 game at a time loaded onto the 3-1.

Mr Hanky,

So the GBA games are stored on the slot 1 MicroSD Card. But to use them they get transferred to the slot 2 EZ 3 in 1 to play.

I'm confused. I just ordered an R4 with 2GB MicroSD and EZ 3 in 1.

So I would store the GBA games on the slot 1 R4 MicroSD card?
I thought the GBA games would go on the slot 2 EZ 3 in 1?

Thanks for clearing this us for me.

Yes thats correct, you can keep 1 GBA game on the EZFlash 3-1 and when you want to chnage game you use the R4 to copy a new game over and backup the save of the old game.
