Oh god! [Magic Keys II + DVD]

Hey,

I just got my Magic Keys II for v12-14 slim ps2. Everything is working, i tried it, i can play, everything is right. But, for some reason, the tool number 2, the one that disable that little piece to be moved (the one that is under the DVD), just randomly started to have CONTACT with the DVD, it scratched all of my DVDs already.

Any tips/hints?

Obs: Its a regular Sony DVD-R.
Obs 2: The magic keys are placed correctly, just like i said, it works.

You could try playing without it. On my v15 slim PS2, I don't even have that piece installed although I do notice slight differences when I do have it in place like better game performances, seriously. But not so much for me to put the piece back in place because I can deal with this very slight disturbance in gameplay (very mild and almost unnoticeable if it weren't for me playing certain games so much i.e. Tales of Destiny [remake]).
