cant get wx ripper to open after winrar extraction

i downloaded wxripper v1.1/1.2..and all other apps on the page but when i extract 1.2 then try to open it all i get is amessage telling me that this failed to initialise i used the link to install net frame 2.0 sp2 and still get the same message ...what do i need to do to get the ripper to open(work) iv'e got dvd drive dissasembled and ready for hotswap jst need wx to work pls help..
