can anyone tell me how to use a cheat device with burnt games on a ps2 that has the matrix infinity modchip thanks.

you ever heard of dr modchip .com thats where I got it from and the ps2 was premodded I pay $230.74 but there were two chips to choose from and they were the mini magic and the modbo 760 and they cost $24.99 to be installed.

If your screen says matrix and those two chips were your only choices then you most likely have the Modbo and not a true Matrix Infinity chip. The Modbo clone chips run on an old version of the Matrix Infinity firmware. Check the website to see which cheat discs if any that chip will support. Most clone chips have a problem with cheat discs and back ups. Does it work with original games at all?

it works with origanals and backups but it will only let me put in the cheats using an origanal game and not a backup.
