I know there's a thread like this and I used search... turns out no one replied to that guy's post... soo... it's back.... XP

I also have some component cables that I bought from GameStop some time ago. Well I hooked the cables into the box and the VGA cable into a 22 inch widescreen Dell LCD monitor and.... nothing happened. Then I remembered those switches on one side of the box. So I started messing with those. As far as I know, none of the presets worked, so I kept goofing around with it. SOmetiems i got a message on the screen that said "1. Anolog cannot support this video mode. Optimal resolution 1600x ????x....) Ok, I can't remember the resolution number,but that's what it said. I know this can work because one... ONE time I got a picture... but that was only once and I think I had to fix the horizontal settings on the box. I don't know what setting to put it at to get it to show up.

Is there a way to get it to show up? Is there another box that is easier to set up?

Does this method have lag in it or not? I'm guessing it might then again it might not.

Oh yeah, when switching settings, how long does it normally take a monitor to register the switched settings of a VGA signal? I'm thinking it takes vurtually no time at all, but I'm not sure.
