Okay, so I'm installing a WiiD chip for a friend, and I've run into a problem! The chip is installed correctly and everything, but when I went to test the Wii, I would press the Power button, but it wouldn't turn on! The light stayed Red, and you could hear a "clicking" noise, like it was trying to turn on! I realized that where you plug the white cable into the DVD Drive, some of the pins were bent, so it wouldn't go on correctly! I fixed that, and now when I try to turn on the Wii, there is no Light at all, and it doesn't do a thing! Please can someone help me out with this? I'm getting really Ticked!!!

**UPDATE** Is it Possible that I fried the System? Because I took the chip out, and the power LED doesn't come on at all, and nothing is happening!

Another reason NOT to install a modchip.

Go to www.teammodders.com if it's really fried. They'll fix it for you + install the chip.

Would you care to explain how someone can fix a System that has been Fried? And maybe give some help, instead of saying why NOT to mod!!!

I would double check those pins you said you had bent. Make sure they are all straight and actually connecting properly. Make sure you didn't break 1 of the pins off.

You said the red power led came on the first time. Then after you had messed with those pins no power light led would come on at all.

Also make sure you are remembering to connect all cable connections...

Well, the thing is, I haven't even put the wii all back together! The DVD Drive is just connected, and I was testing it to see if the Chip Worked! That way, if it didn't, I wouldn't have to take the whole thing apart again!

I would assume to make sure it worked you would at least connect all the connections together.

Plus did you check the pins you said where bent make sure they are all there etc.

Ya I checked those, and they are still there! When I first installed the WiiD, I don't think it updated correctly, so I redid the Soldering, and it stopped working! When I first installed it, it would turn on just fine and everything, but now it's not doing it!
