M3 Perfect Lite/Mario Advanced 4

Hi, I've been trying and trying to get Mario Advanced 4 to work but have had no results.

I've tried a few roms. The first time a "GBA Player" menu came up and then it said the save file was corrupted. It would then try and load the main menu but freeze up. The other roms go to the corrupted save file but then nothing else.

If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it.
