Ok I posted last week stating that I used Maxell +R and they worked great but i failed to mention that they were 8X I just bought the Maxell + R that are 16X and they dont work so if you do get the maxells get the 8X only

nevermind this post if you use a 16X dick burn at half the speed wich is 8X so the Maxell + R work great

- R is oldest Technology so it should work the best for future reference and TBK ( I think) is what is proven to work the best

I personally use Sony DVD-R disks Havent had a problem yet (knock on wood)

maxell DVD-R 16x work fine on mine but i never burn faster than 4x so probably not affected

i find most discs if you try to burn at their max stated speed have some form of issues one way or the other so i never do
