What are some good brands for psx backups cause i tried burning my bust-a-groove cue/bin file onto a maxell cd-r with Nero but when i put in into my playstation it runs REALLY slow. It takes about 20 mins to get to the main menu from bootup. If any of you guys/girls could tell me some good brands or programs to burn it with then you'd help me alot

thats odd, to be sure.
I have used a lot of different CD-r medias for my psx backups with no problems.
including, but not limited to:
Ridata 40x
memorex 80min
memoriex 48x 80min
verbatim datalifeplus 80min
hypermedia multispeed 80min
emtec 32x 80min
durabrand 16x 80min
imation 8x 74min
unknown all silver no label 74 and 80min
and my personal favorite THESE[url=http://www.burnsmart.com/pr-black-cdr.html][/url]

my conclusion is, just about all media will work with no problems.
if you DO have a problem, then its probably the backup.
note- over the years of backing up psx games, ive burned as high as 48x with no issues at all.

i love the black discs though... anyone know if there is black DVD media yet?
