Sonic burn unreadable

So I burned Sonic and the Secret Rings and popped it in my Wii. I got to the start menu and pressed "2" to continue. Immediately I received a black screen saying "Unable to read disc data. Consult the Wii operations manual" or something to that extent.

Try 2 it seems to freeze from transition to Wii menu to game menu.

Try 3 I got back to the game menu, pressed "2" and got the same error message. is this a bad burn or bad backup or what?

NTSC Wii
NTSC Backup
Sony disc
Burn @ 4x w/ Nero
Firmware 2.2U

Try burning with ImgBurn

I've got BIg Brain Academy to work on Sony discs. Anyways, I used IMG burn on Maxell and Three times it would freeze on the transition from Wii menu -> game menu
