Downloaded game saves on a region patched game?

I have the USA version of RE4 but I've patched it to PAL because I have a PAL Wii.. I then downloaded a game save (completed the game on GC) because I want some more guns unlocked, but I was wondering if the save will work? Can I use an US save on a game I've patched from NTSC to PAL?


Also, if it does work, how do I transfer my save? Should I put it in the DCIM, MISC or just the root (where I have my pictures and music) of my SD card?

NVM, it should just be placed in the root, and if people didn't know, I can confirm that the US save file works fine on a US game that's been patched to PAL.
