Hey guys, I rarely post, but surf much and I thought, "Why not give back to the community that has been so good to me?" If you are like me and have over 750 movies and are tired of searching from folder to folder looking for one movie, wasting time and possibly missing it the first time around......

Here is a M$ Access Search Template program that is all ready to go, all you have to do is mark your folders (1,2,3 or A,B,C etc) and fill in the pre-made table with your collection of movies. Once you add all of your movies into the table and mark if they are drama, action, suspense etc, you can mark which page and slot they go into. You can search by name, genre, case anyway you want! :) True, it does take some time building the table, but you will shortly gain that time back soon and your significant other won't keep asking, "You find it YET?!?!" LOL.

Here is the link (It should be saved in Office 2000 format but was written in 2007): http://www.jumpace.com/backups/SearchMovieTemplate.zip

I hope someone finds this useful and I have found this site to be. :)

P.S. Plz excuse my n00bness, if this is not in the appropriate place

thank you for your input...... here is my tool:
it's DVDProfiler:
http://www.invelos.com/
you can edit the entry of the DVD and say where exactly the disk is, like case 2 #565!~ and I have 5 cases of 600 in a case now.. so I know exactly where things are:

when you have over 3000 or so disks it gets complicated.

here is my movie collection:
