Most Games NOT Full Widescreen 16:9 ?!?!?!

I modded my wii recently with wiifree and I noticed that most of the games do not display full widescreen, except the Nintendo made ones. Most of the games are a few centimeters short of full widescreen around the edges. Is this normal? Does anyone else with a big screen tv notice this too?

I have a 32" and the wii compnent cables (not official Nintedo) and im getting not many games full screen as well. Only one or two - Mario Strikers. I just got Resident evil 4 NTSC and i was told it supports full widescreen and 480p except im getting black borders! Like i said previously whats going on!

I just tested RE4 NTSC today. I'm getting the same problem with it not being full widescreen. I guess it depends on the game. Some games support full widescreen and some don't.
