I used to have a ps3, before it died because of a power surge, i activated my psp so it could play psx (ps1) games on it.... i have some iso's but i'm not on custom firmware.... does anyone have any ideas how i could make them work thanks

On official Sony firmware, you can only play games downloaded from the Sony store.

If you want to play self-converted PS1 games, you need custom firmware.

NO, there is NO WAY to get custom firmware if you PSP is above 3.03

Why don't you take a look at your firmware and tell me what it is. Or figure it out yourself...if its above 3.03, then your stuck

im not stuck any more im on (used to be on 3.11) 3.50 which can be downgraged now hahaha
